Welcome to the Safeway Pension Scheme

In August, the Trustee of the TM Pension Plan (TM Plan) and TM Group Pension Scheme (TM Scheme) let you know about the proposed merger of the TM Plan and the TM Scheme into the Safeway Pension Scheme (the Scheme) on or around 1 October 2024.

The merger has now concluded and your pension benefits are now provided by the Scheme: your benefits remain the same and you don’t need to take any action. There’s no impact on the payments you currently receive or those you’ll be entitled to in the future. However, you might notice a few changes such as the branding, now that you’re officially part of the Safeway Pension Scheme.

The Scheme is looked after by the Trustee of the Safeway Pension Scheme, but Hymans Robertson will continue as your Scheme administrator. The way you manage your pension also remains unchanged. You can still log in to the same members' portal, where you’ll have access to all your personalised pension information.

Follow the simple steps that will take you to your specific member area:

1.      Visit: https://www.morrisonspensions.co.uk/

2.      Select your scheme: Safeway Pension Scheme

3.      Answer ‘yes’ to the questions ‘were you previously a member of the TM Group Pension Scheme or TM Pension Plan?’
